I love this dehumidifier! Both my wife and I moved to a new apartment in Pacifica, CA literally across the street from the beach. We normally leave our windows open so it vents a bit of fresh air but the problem is that humidity enters as well with the sea breeze. It got really damp in our apartment and so bad that I felt it every time I got in the blankets. I shopped around and found this dehumidifier online and thought it would be very helpful. When it came, no joke, it was like christmas. I tore it open with a twinkle in my eye and laughed with joy when I pulled it out. I read the instruction manual to make sure I didn’t ruin anything and it was a simple 3-6 step process. I set it up in no time and plugged it in to the wall to see what this bad boy can do. Within 12 hours, this 25 Pint dehumidifier was full. It kept getting full for the next 4 days and now it is nice and dry in our 1 bedroom apartment. I really love it!
I gave it a five star because of its awesomeness and the vendors quickness in shipping. The product is amazing.
Be aware that this dehumidifier is no whisper technology machine. It is as loud as a portable fan but my wife loves it since she needs noise to help her fall asleep (drowns out our neighbors loud movie watching at 11 PM). Thanks Frigidaire, your the best!

This dehumidifier works, but is so incredibly loud it isn’t usable.
We purchased two dehumidifiers at the same time: this one, and the Soleus Air CFM-40 E 40-Pint Dehumidifier with Humidistat. It’s absolutely amazing how different they are. We let both run all day while we were at work, and they both did a great job at collecting water.
However, the Frigidaire is so loud we can’t use it *at all* when we’re home. No exaggeration. I turned it on in our bedroom, closed the door, then walked clear across the house to our dining room and could still hear it loud and clear.
If I’m standing next to it while it’s on, I can’t hear a word my wife is saying. I have no idea how anyone can live with this in their home.
We’re returning it asap and getting a second Soleus. It’s a little more expensive, but it’s so quiet we can leave it on at night in our kids’ room and they can barely hear it. The Soleus also has a larger water tank and takes up less space.

This little unit really works! I have a 1 bedroom apartment that gets very humid. I was unsure what size dehumidifier to get; I went with the 25-pint because I could pick it up locally. I run it for 2 hours on humid mornings and it makes a huge difference, no more condensation on the windows!

I bought this dehumidifier to help combat a mold problem in my house, and it’s doing a great job of pulling moisture out of the air. It’s got a big tank, and I have to change it at least once a day (that may say more about the insulation of my house than the dehumidifier, but the point is, it works!). It’s also very easy to empty, and there was no set-up or assembly required. The only drawback is it’s quite loud. I don’t mind “white noise” so it doesn’t particularly bother me, but I do have to turn the TV up (mine’s in my living room), and when I have guests over, I turn it off. But if you don’t mind the noise, I think this is a great buy.

I searched reviews online for several days before buying this dehumidifier. I live in an extremely high humidity area, especially in the winter time. (lots of rain) and I am allergic to mold, So really needed a humidifier that can continue to run in colder temps. I am not disappointed. I call this a “moisture sucking dynamo”. Like other reviewers, I have to mention that it isnt quiet. While it doesn’t vibrate, it does blow air out of the top that is very similar to a box fan on high. So, that may deter some people, but not me, I like the ‘white noise’. This is very effective at removing humidity. The drain bucket is easy to remove and replace, and has a convenient handle to carry it to the sink for dumping. It has 4 wheels for easy mobility, but the unit is not heavy at all, so picking it up to carry to another room is pretty easy. I’v had several dehumidifiers over the years and this is the best one so far. I highly recommend this item. I am very happy with my purchase, well worth the price.
